5 Facts About the Session Experience
Hello! I’m so happy you’re here! I wanted to take a few minutes to give you some information about sessions that you will find helpful when you’re deciding if I’m the right fit for you for your boudoir photography. For those of you who don’t know me, I’m Taylor, boudoir photographer here in Apple Valley, MN.
1. Professional Hair and Makeup is included in ALL sessions!
You arrive to the session mid-morning and get started right away with hair and makeup on site. You’re more than welcome to bring ideas of what you would like your hair and makeup to look like. We also chat about what you are envisioning leading up to your session so you start getting ideas leading up to the shoot! All makeup comes with false lashes, which photograph so gorgeously!

2. I show you exactly how to get into each and every pose
If you’re thinking it is challenging to get into some of these poses, you’re not wrong. However, I will walk you through each and every one, personally demonstrating what to do, and helping you move your body from your head to toes. I am constantly talking to you throughout the session from small details, such as breathing through your mouth, to opening or closing your eyes to where to place your hands. Fun fact about me - I cannot touch my toes. But you best believe I can get into each of these poses we will have you do (even this one below). Unless you’re wanting to do a handstand. I most definitely cannot do one of those. I will fully hype you up though as you’re in that handstand girl.
3. I will tell you how gorgeous you are. Like a lot.
Your photos will be absolutely beautiful because YOU are beautiful. Your hair and makeup will be stunning, I will be guiding you through poses that accentuate parts of your body you love and you will be GORGEOUS. And guess what? I will show you exactly how you look periodically on the back of my camera so you can see the queen that you are.
4. You get to chose what you do (or don’t) wear!
The session includes 3 outfits plus a white sheet set, if that’s something you’re interested in. If you sign up for a pre-session payment plan you will also be eligible for specialty sets for free. We go over ideas for what to wear leading up to your session date. It is up to you how revealing or conservative you want your images to be. You will have the option of choosing between no nudity, partial nudity and full nudity. Not sure what that looks like? 5. You will get to view and pick out your favorite images at the ordering reveal the SAME DAY!
How awesome is that? The entire day is dedicated to you. On your session day you will have your hair and makeup professionally done, have an amazing photography session and then you get to see your images and pick out your favorites literally the same day! Reveals are my favorite part because I get to watch you see your images for the first time. There is nothing better than watching you see your images for the first time and see how gorgeous you are.
